Don't keep it wet too long.

The pizza tray works fine and does what it's meant to do. But if food sticks to it, don't soak it in water for a while because it will form a layer of rust.

Its a really good point- black steel trays shouldn't be washed. The pan should be seasoned and as the pan continues to blacken it will become virtually non-stick. The skankier the better when it comes to mild steel trays and pans. if the pan must be washed- dry it in a warm - hot oven then re-season.
